I am a mother of three children between the ages of 13 and 29. I have three degrees, a BS in Business Administration from The College of Charleston, an MBA from Boston University and a Master of Science in Taxation from the University of Illinois. I have worked primarily in the Tax area of Accounting for almost 25 years although I have worked as a controller and on many audits. I have also been an adjunct professor at several colleges and Universities in my area such as Greensboro College, Elon University and UNCG teaching Accounting Principles.
Additionally I have 5 granddaughters and spend a great deal of time with my family who is my highest priority. I've always had a natural talent for Accounting and found the Tax area very appealing since I enjoy dealing with the law. I've worked for a fortune 500 Company as a Tax manager as well as top tier accounting firms. This work experience coupled with my many years teaching accounting dealing with hundreds of students and their different learning styles makes me very qualified to tutor students in Accounting and Tax.
