UNC-Greensboro (Theatre and Spanish)
I'm Cameron, a current undergraduate senior at UNC Greensboro.
For my tutoring experience: I am currently employed by UNC Greensboro as a Spanish Tutor for the courses of SPA 101 to 204, and am required to attend weekly training to receive certification from the CRLA International Tutor Certification course. I am currently attempting Level 1 certification and will complete level 2 in the Spring. I tutor in one on one sessions as well as groups of up to three.
I am able to tutor at a basic level in all subjects, but I am choosing to focus in on my two current undergraduate majors, Spanish and Theatre. This is so that I may possibly inspire a new-found enjoyment and proficiency in these subjects that have been able to shape my life this far! But, I am also willing to brush on up any subject that is asked of me provided I have a short notice.
My tutoring approach is one that will be consistently molded to fit the needs of the student, as I learn how he/she best learns and how I am best able to them. I am willing to be as casual as is desired while also bringing the same focus and rigor that has helped me stay on track to graduate a semester early with a 4.0 GPA!
I currently have a 4.0 GPA in my Spanish major, and placed into the highest possible level I could as an incoming freshman after only three years of the language in all of years in secondary school. As a current student I have the added bonus of improving my grasp on the language every week while learning more advanced concepts, and if we reached any question that I was unable to give a sufficient explanation to, I could consult my professors for assistance as well.
I look forward to hearing from you! Do not hesitate to contact me via email to set up lessons, I am willing to work with most schedules. I'm Cameron, a current undergraduate senior at UNC Greensboro.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
