University of North Carolina at Greensboro (BS) (biology, prepharmacy)
Nothing gives me more satisfaction than passing (in life or school), and helping others. I am currently a UNCG double major and minor. I major in Biology and pre-pharmacy, and a minor in Religion Studies. A little about myself, I'm an only child and I love to cook and read! Well...that's along with texting; I would assume that's your average human these days. My love for helping others comes from the fact that I don't see little smiles walking around my home all the time, because I am the youngest here. With that in mind, tutoring is one of the main ways I can trade my knowledge for a smile. Giving to the community, helping others, and getting to share their joy of success is my passion! I tutor in English (writing, grammar, spelling), Math (Elementary, Middle, High, Geometry), Science (Elementary, Middle, High; Biology).
My past experience in tutoring was at a Sunday school; I tutored elementary students in English and Arabic. In addition, I tutor my 6th grade cousin in Math. As for Science, I tutor myself in that everyday in order to pass college. I am also a CNA and a certified daycare teacher. I interned at Colfax Elementary School and a few daycares in High Point, NC.
In terms of job background, I haven't yet had another paying job besides tutoring. It's a pleasure to be able to teach others.
My tutoring methods are very straightforward. I will help in whatever you present me with, meaning if you have to study for a test, homework, writing a paper, etc. Then I will give you my own skills, and whichever works best for you, we'll go along. The goal is to leave with more knowledge and coming back with a good grade. So yes, I will make it challenging, but not difficult.
Time time time! Because I am a college student, I will mostly be free in the afternoon/evening and early morning. However, I try my best to be flexible, so nothing is ever impossible. If you're missing a session, please let me know prior. I am always happy to reschedule! In terms of location, I will be tutoring at my college library (UNCG, Jackson Library). However, I am willing to travel to requested destinations. But keep in mind that we will have to meet in a public place, not homes.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you! Nothing gives me more satisfaction than passing (in life or school), and helping others. I am currently a UNCG double major and minor. I major in Biology and pre-pharmacy, and a minor in Religion Studies. A little about myself, I'm
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I graduated high school with a 3.7 GPA. I am a CNA. I am a college freshman at UNCG
