North Greenville University (English literature)
As an English major graduate, I want to expose and share the knowledge that I have gained through my studies. I do not want to keep all the English enthusiasm to myself. I will gladly assist in advancing your understanding so that you will be able to succeed on your own.
During my college years, I was a part of a tutoring program. I worked with college athletes on developing their writing and test-taking skills, all the while they were improving their grades.
Meeting and working with students is a joy because each one brings different potential and personality. Every challenge is worth it.
I tutor because not only am I teaching, but also I am learning. My desire is to effectively communicate that being a student never ends. Being teachable holds great value in life.
I am available on weekdays between 9 am to 7 pm and Saturday times are negotiable. I can travel to meet with students or meet them online. My hourly rate is $45.
Please contact me for more details and to schedule a lesson. Looking forward to hearing from you and helping you in your educational endeavors! In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
