East Carolina University (French Education)
Bonjour! I am currently a French teacher in NC. I teach middle school French, but I am certified in all grade levels (k-12). I am extremely passionate about the French language and the history of France. I am especially interested in linguistic history, which is how language has changed over time. I fell in love with French the way every other teacher falls in love with their content - through an amazing teacher! I started taking French classes in high school and quickly realized that I wanted to shape my life around the language. I went to East Carolina University in NC and graduated (magna cum laude) in 2014 with a degree in French Education and an NC teaching license. I have spent the past year teaching at a middle school and will continue to to do so this year.
If I can make an 11 year old excited about French (and understanding it!) I can certainly help you! Bonne Chance!

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
