I have a bachelor's degree in Spanish and math education, and a master's degree in math education. My favorite math to teach is Algebra 1 and Algebra 2, but all of the others are fun too! I also have top multiple prep classes for ACT and SAT math.

I enjoy working with middle school and high school students and helping them understand math and Spanish. My favorite thing about teaching and tutoring is when students have their "Ah-ha!" moment. I also like to present material in different ways that will make sense to that particular student. Not every student learns the same way, and I enjoy finding the way that works for each student.

I'm a good math tutor because I'm patient with students, and I'm also not stuck in the "you have to do it one way" mindset. There are usually many different ways to solve one problem and I help students find the way that their brain sees the solution. I also have a master's degree in math education with a concentration in curriculum and instruction.

I'm a good Spanish shooter because I have a bachelor's degree in Spanish and I understand the complexities and the nuances of the Spanish language. Also I'm a non-native Spanish speaker and I can connect to other non-native Spanish learners and help them make the connection between Spanish and English and see where the differences lie and give them different techniques on how to remember those while using the language in a real life setting.

Please contact me if you're interested in tutoring! I love teaching and working with students and trying to share my love for the subjects with them as well, even if math or Spanish isn't your thing.
