She was very patient with my daughter, and was able to complete an assessment and plan to improve her mathematics skills. Her communication skills were excellet and she was very knowledgeable.
It was great... My son has never came home from tutoring and said he enjoyed himself... And it's summer time...
My son really enjoyed his 1st session and we look forward to him gaining the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for him to excel in 4th grade and beyond.
Stephanie did a great with my daughter. I was looking for someone to teach my daughter to read better. I can see Stephanie cares what she does.
I like the interaction she had with my son. He actually enjoyed meeting with her. She is well organized and I liked the fact that she had a notebook personally for my son so she can write everything that was observed during the session. That is the first time he ever went to a tutor who personally took notes.
Ms. Stephanie has a good interaction with my sons. She connects with them on a level that allows them to be themselves and learn more freely.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
