I am a direct support professional that has received extensive training through The Arc and Easter Seals. I have a solid understanding of various intellectual and developmental disorders. I am certified in CPR, First Aid, Danielle's Law, and Crisis Intervention. I have dedicated my career to enhancing the personal, educational, and occupational dreams of those that I serve. I work very hard to help individual's reach and exceed their personal best.

I enjoy the challenge of finding the balance of work and play that allows an individual to feel comfortable with pushing their limits. Visual and hands on methods are typically best used when I work with individuals with intellectual, developmental, or and/or behavioral disabilities. Sometimes it is easier to understand concepts when they can be formed into visual cues for the individual.

I earned my B.S. in Biology at Stockton University and my M.S. in Disaster Medicine and Management at Philadelphia University. I have dedicated my academic career to identifying the basic needs of individuals with intellectual disabilities to ensure a cohesive integration in emergency sheltering operations during disasters. My aim is to identify the needs of individuals with intellectual disabilities, create a basic needs check list for emergency shelter managers, and provide the minimum essential crisis intervention training to emergency shelter managers to ensure that this population can cohesively shelter with the general population during disasters.

I am very passionate about preserving the rights of individuals with intellectual, developmental, and behavioral disabilities.
