Hello! My name is Keri and I am a 28 year old female.

I have lots and lots of experience teaching, and private tutoring. I worked at a privately owned academy in Seoul Korea for 6 years teaching students SAT's, Toefl (IBT), vocabulary, reading, writing, and grammar. In this academy, named "Swaton SAT Academy", I was also the director of the pre-SAT courses, designed especially for elemetary grade students. This opportunity lead me to teach younger students, and I am capable of teaching most elementary level subjects. I am also completely bilingual in Korean and English, so if you need to learn either of the two languages, I will be honored to teach you!

I am a christian, and have been a Sunday-school teacher for many years, and my son Isaiah is also in my class.

I like to focus on many core issues when it comes to teaching, and one of them is vocabulary. Through many years of teaching, I have aquired an understanding that without the proper comprehension, and usage of words, a student will most likely have trouble in many different areas of studies. I like to incorporate vocabulary into all the subjects that I teach in order to give my students a strong foundation of understanding their subject of study, which will ultimately aid them in scoring higher on their SAT's.

Well, this is pretty much everything about my teaching experience, and I hope I hear from you soon!

Sincerely,
Keri

Hi potential students! I am very pleased to meet you. First of all, let me tell you about the experience I have, so that you may know what to expect from my teaching. I worked over seas, in Seoul Korea, in a privately owned institution called "The Swaton SAT Academy" for 6 years. In this academy I taught grades 1-6 in the areas of reading, writing, vocabulary, and grammar. I also privately tutored students who generally needed assistance with their home-work, especially in the areas of writing, reading comprehension, grammar, and vocabulary. I feel that a strong foundation of reading comprehension and vocabulary, benefits a student's future needs in standardized testing. Getting a good head start while in elementary school is very important in achieving a satisfying score on the SAT's verbal section when necessary. I hope that I may be of assistance, and I hope to hear from you soon.

Hello, My name is Keri and I am a mother of three boys-9,4 & 3, and before having children I was an SSAT teacher at a private institution. I focused mainly on the verbal section along with critical reading and writing. I've taught myself to read and write languages other than English and have an abundance of experience with younger readers who are just starting off. My love of reading also impacted my three boys who started reading and writing very young and my nine year old is now reading at a ninth grade level as a part of his school's AIG Program. Reading and comprehension skills go so much further than just reading- it impacts math along with many other subjects later on in primary school but also in test taking and everyday life! It's important to get your children one step ahead of the game and I'm the one to get your child there.
