Hello!

My name is Chris, and I would love to help you with your general and/or organic chemistry classes! I am a current third-year chemistry major with over 2 years of tutoring experience. After graduating, my career goals involve pursuing a PhD in chemistry before teaching at the university level.

I am also a CRLA certified tutor, a national certification that I went through approximately 40 hours of training to achieve. I recognize that every student learns differently. I am more than willing to work with you to find new ways of explaining topics for what works best for you!

I am also experienced with AP chemistry, as I took this class in high school and earned a 5 on the AP exam. I remember how difficult of a class it is! As the curriculum is very similar to a general chemistry class you would take at a university, I have over a year and a half of experience tutoring this type of chemistry. I would love to return to working on this class, as it is what originally grew my love for chemistry!

Most importantly, I am an undergraduate student myself that has had great success! I know what it is like to juggle multiple jobs, family responsibilities, and extracurriculars while trying to do well in school. I have found methods that allowed me to be successful in my undergraduate chemistry classes thus far, and would love to help you do the same. I am at the top of my class at my undergraduate institution, as I received awards for both general and organic chemistry recognizing my performance in the classes. After my first year of undergrad, I began tutoring and have loved the process so far.
