I've also learned the importance of culture and great teams. It's when you have that terrific culture that supports a big vision, something that is fresh, powerful yet attainable and the skills of a team that are aligned and pulling towards that mission regardless of ego or title is when I've seen true innovation happen that can change individual lives.
It's a blessing to be on this journey, just a kid from a small town that has seen the world. I think I'm up to 84 countries (yes, I do count, but it's due to a goal of trying to get to all nations). The big lesson from this experience for me has been that most people want joy and happiness. For themselves, their family and their friends. There’s also this realization that there are some big challenges that we are going to have to take on if we want to make this world a better place. It just might take a global culture of great teams that have that deep insight, a bit of hope and a dream for something different.
