I hold a Bachelor of Arts from North Carolina Central University in Public Administration with a minor in Business Administration and am a Masters of Science candidate in Human Development with a cognate in Social Work with and am a candidate for graduation in May 2016. The honors organizations I belong to at the collegiate level include Golden Key International Honor Society, Kappa Omicron Nu Human Sciences National Honor Society, and Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society. Since I am a current Graduate student, I am proficient in research techniques and finding sources and other materials for research papers. In addition, I have taken Educational Statistics, which equips me with knowledge of gathering qualitative and quantitative data for research papers. I have worked in Higher Education for four years and currently work in an Academic office in which I have experience working with a diverse plethora of students.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
