Hello as you probably already know my name is Corine T. I have tutored 2 young men in all subject areas from elementary to high school. I am currently tutoring a young man in college algebra. I am a teacher at Lowes Grove Middle School. I teach Physical Education and Health.
What I love about tutoring is simply the ability to help out our future. I love to give back to the community and I see this as a way of giving back. I enjoy teaching. The way I view it is, these young people have to eventually grow up one day and take care of us so I am doing all I can to help prepare our youth mentally, emotionally, and physically for their future.
My writing skills grew strong throughout my career in school. Throughout undergrad and graduate school I have written hundreds of personal and research papers. I have developed the skill of editing papers. I have proven my writing skills to my professors in return I received A's.
My undergrad degree is in Sport Science and my Masters degree is in Kinesiology with a concentration is Sport Management. One of my 400 hour internships was at UNC Fitness and Wellness Center where I participated in cardiac wellness, personal training, exercise prescription, and aquatics. My other 400 internship was in Person County at the Parks and Recreation Department. There I worked in the athletic department organizing athletic events, having hands-on with the equipment, scheduling, and any other responsibility that is involved with athletics.
All of my accolades are listed above. But the most important thing is my heart and passion that i have for teaching. If given the opportunity I will not let you down, most importantly I will not let the youth down!

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
