I have been teaching math for the past 5 years. During my time teaching I have taught Algebra 1, Geometry, Math II, Pre-Calculus, Honors Pre-Calculus, and Ap Calculus. I have also studied other courses that I would be more than happy to tutor, don't be afraid to ask about other courses. Other experiences include 7 years of tutoring outside of the classroom over various subject. As well I have my Masters in Mathematics from the University of Western Florida.

One reason I love tutoring is I have the opportunity to share my passion for mathematics with other people. I understand that math is not everybody's favorite subject and often does not couple very easy for people, but I enjoy finding different ways of explaining topics to different people. Through tutoring I am able to help build a deeper understanding of math, clear up any confusion on a topic, and help everybody see the real life application of math.

My tutoring style is not only helping you achieve the right answers but also help you grasp a deeper understanding of the material. From my experience students tend to do better in math when they can understand why it works instead of just throwing answers down. When you come to tutoring you can bring your own problems you are having problems with, but I can also provide extra problems to provide extra practice. During our time together through example problems and discussion, I believe we can make great strides in the area of math.

Please do not hesitate to contact me about either a course listed above or another course you are struggling with currently. I would be happy to work with your schedule to help you receive the help you need in a timely manner without getting further behind in the class. I look forward to helping you with math soon.

Very knowledgeable and professional

It was a great start. As a high school math teacher, Ryan is very familiar with the materials and knows the methods of teaching. My eighth grader loves Ryan’s lesson.
