About Megan

My name is Megan and I am pursuing a graduate degree in statistics at Duke University. I majored in mathematics, statistics and history at Amherst College. During my undergraduate education, I tutored different levels of statistics as a teaching assistant and through drop-in help hours. I graduated with the Class of 2011 from Phillips Academy Andover. In high school, I tutored various levels of mathematics. When tutoring students I do not like to simply show a student an example. Instead, I prefer to not always directly give students an answer, but rather provide leading questions that help students grasp the concepts and reach the conclusion on their own. Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
