I graduated from the Univ of Miami w/ a B.S. in Psychology, 2nd major in Spanish Language & Literature, and minors in Chemistry and Biology. I then spent my gap year at the NIH researching the neuroscience of addiction before starting medical school at Duke fall of 2021.

My application cycle was very successful. I went on 7 interviews and felt confident in my ability to express myself and connect with the interviewers in every one. I had 0 post-interview rejections. I submitted 20 secondaries-- if you're applying to Duke you know what a monster their secondary app is!

I spent a lot of time practicing my interviewing skills with advisors, mentors, post-docs. I also have 2+ years experience mock interviewing students enrolled in a college Professional Development course, and work building speaking skills with individuals learning English as a 2nd language. I will use knowledge gained from my experiences to arm you with the techniques needed to boost your medical school application and help you put your best foot forward. My approach will be to empower you and guide you on letting your qualities shine through essays and interviews.
