Duke University (Civil Engineering)
Hello! My name is Aradhna. I have been an engineering student at Duke University for one year. I have tutored students at all different levels, including college and PhD students, in many subjects, including Math (all levels), English, Spanish, Writing, and much more. Every student is different, and therefore my teaching style changes with each individual. I am also very familiar with Java programming and Microsoft features, such as Outlook, Powerpoint, Word, etc. My 6 years of experience has taught me a lot along the way, and with each student, I improve as an instructor.
Since it has not been too many years since I left high school, it is easier for me to connect with that age group. However, as I have mentioned before, I have worked with college, middle school, and elementary students, and have enjoyed every bit of it. I try to make each lesson different and interesting, while still covering all the material that needs to be completed and challenging my students. I hope I can be the right fit for you, because what matters to me is that you learn and begin to enjoy the subject(s) that you are struggling with. If you have any other questions, feel free to contact me. In the meantime, happy learning!

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
