Bio

I am a full-time engineer but I love spending time helping others learn. I have been tutoring for 20+ years and still love it. I have worked with kids and adults in every subject, but I am the most effective teaching Math and SAT Prep.

People often ask me Why I spend so much time tutoring? Well, there is no better feeling than when a student has that "A-Ha" moment and finally grasps a new concept. The pride that they show being able to complete problems completely on their own is...

People often ask me Why I spend so much time tutoring? Well, there is no better feeling than when a student has that "A-Ha" moment and finally grasps a new concept. The pride that they show being able to complete problems completely on their own is what brings me back time and again.

I was always an excellent Math student; winning Math awards in High School and being a Teacher's Assistant in College. As an engineer, I continue to use those same Math skills. All of this experience allows me to approach teaching from a variety of angles. Not every student learns the same way, I am flexible enough to teach for the individual student.

SAT Reading and Writing is about breaking down English grammar into very logical pieces. By understanding the grammar fundamentals and identifying the purpose of each test questions, the mystery of the SAT Reading and Writing are better understood and mastered.

I would love to use my experience and help you gain a better understanding of your Math struggles. Contact me now. The sooner you contact me, the sooner we can get you the success you deserve.

Great tutor

Chris shows patience and is extremely knowledgeable. He’s an amazing tutor and has helped my daughter immensely. He uses easy to understand concepts and thoughts to help make math easier. I highly recommend hiring Chris.

Knowledgeable and Challenging

Chris has helped my son with physics and really works hard to make sure he is truly understanding everything. He often challenges him by changing things up and making him reverse the order. He also makes him verbally walk through the steps. Chris has been a huge help with this subject. We are grateful.

Great personality, very knowledgeable, always prepared.

Chris has been tutoring our son in pre-calc this semester, and he's helped him with both comprehension and building "speed" in solving problems. He's been great!

Knowledgeable, friendly and patient

Chris knows how to explain and break down content to make it accessible . He is very supportive and flexible. My daughter is becoming more proficient in Math.

Very observant and patient tutor

As he teaches, Chris, keeps a close eye to my son's strength and weakness. He then tries to help him to identify these strengths and weaknesses on his own before he discusses what he has observed. He then uses very encouraging words to make him feel that he can get through this! We are very thankful to him that he shows nothing but genuine care to what he teaches---and that he is taking the time to help our son in his success. " Thank you Chris!"

Outstanding.

On short notice, I needed someone to help me better understand Algebra and help me review for my exam. Chris did just that, also very patient when it comes to not understanding something. Thanks.
