Yesterday my daughter took the SAT after being tutored by Charles. The first thing she talked about when she got in the car was how beneficial the tutoring was in preparing her for the test. Charles gave her test strategies, time management tips, and great feedback on practice tests. She went into the test feeling less anxious because she was prepared, thanks to Charles!
Thank you, Charles. My son felt very comfortable with you and feels that he will be able to learn a lot and be more comfortable when he approaches test day in October. Like the homework you gave him to do, this will help push him to learn those vocabulary words that he sometimes doesn't want to do. Thanks again and see you on the 15th.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
