Lisa was very informative and patient, knowledgeable and talented. Very happy to have connected! She was very descriptive with my son and great at keeping his interest.
Lisa does such a wonderful job and we plan to use her next year too. She has made a difference!
Lisa is an absolutely excellent tutor. I'm a college student and I found her as knowledgeable and skilled as any professor. She designed a German lesson suited to both my age and my level of experience (I'm a beginner).
Lisa has been a wonderful tutor and I only wish we had found her sooner. My son had a German tutor who was far less expensive and far less effective. Lisa comes prepared for the session, and knows what he needs to accomplish. Her methods are effective and have had outstanding results. You are definitely getting a great tutor and a better investment with Lisa.
My daughter is studying AP English in High School which requires a special tutor. Not only is Lisa immensely competent and qualified, she will go the extra mile and answer questions for your student so that they are progressing and succeeding in class. Lisa is very professional and compassionate. We are lucky to have found her!
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
