I utilize the SRA Corrective Reading program to help students improve their reading skills. It is a wonderful program that dramatically increases a student's decoding and fluency. If your child is reading several grades below grade level, utilizing this program will help tremendously.

I currently teach mathematics in a charter school to a group of students with learning disabilities. My students are in the 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. I teach the common core curriculum and also utilize the TransMath program in my classroom, as well as in my tutoring. It is one of the few programs specifically designed for struggling math students. For students still struggling with addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, I find that the Touch Math system is extremely effective.
