More specifically, I can help with Chemistry courses ranging from general and organic chemistry to inorganic and Physical Chemistry. I can also help with high school and AP courses in Math, Physics, and Chemistry. I can also help with ACT/SAT and provide general tips for acing the GRE. I have experience tutoring Math, Physics, and Chemistry at UC Berkeley and UNC.
My philosophy in tutoring is to understand and work for the student and not the other way around. I try to emphasize with the students and create an open environment where they can ask questions without feeling pressured which helps in the faster understanding of the coursework. It is important to debunk any misconceptions early on as it confuses the student in the long term. Additionally, I will try my best to cater to the student's needs and prepare a schedule or answer any concept that the students me to address.
I love teaching as I remember at some point I used to struggle with these concepts, and it is useful to have an extra pair of hands to make you move past the initial concepts that make things much more understandable. I love to teach because it gives me the chance to highlight the usefulness and make fellow peers appreciate the true beauty of what they study.
