I love teaching and sharing my knowledge with students who are really looking for some help and a way forward for their wonderful future and career. Thanks to the demanding necessity from my career so far, I am quite familiar with and proficient in many branches of math and electrical engineering. The key subjects I would love to tutor in include, but not limited to, algebra I/II, pre-calculus, calculus, computer programming using C or C++, and subjects related with electrical engineering, with a special focus on wireless telecommunications, where all subjects can be covered up to the college level.
As for tutoring in each subject, I usually start with the very fundamental concepts/principles, depending on the proficiency level of a student. Once a student gets confident with concepts/principles, then we will practice with as many problems as possible, from some entry level to somewhat challenging ones, so that a student can really get confident with concepts/principles and develop his/her problem-solving skills. A quiz or test can be taken from time to time, along with some homework.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I have received a Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea, where the academic credential is the equivalent of the U.S. ones earned at a regionally accredited institution of higher education.
While pursuing the above-mentioned degree, I specialized the theory of digital communications and its application to mobile communications, with a focus on a CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) system. Since then, I have led and/or participated in a lot of industrial R&D efforts on the advanced telecommunications systems, including 4G LTE, and part of R&D results have been published through many IEEE Journals and conferences. I am currently holding more than 40 US patents granted.
