In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

I took accounting undergraduate and in grad school. In addition I have worked in accounting and finance for over fifteen years.

On the SAT I scored a 1350 out of 1600.

I received a grade of 100 on my final exam in algebra 1 class.

This was one of my best subjects in school. I took this class in high school in NY where I scored a perfect score of 100 on the Regents Exam. I tutored this subject later in college as well.

I received my MBA from Hofstra University in May of 2000 with honor and was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma. I have worked in finance and accounting for the past twenty years in a variety of roles including accountant and financial analyst.

I have worked in Oracle for five plus years, using it (Oracle Financials) as the general ledger system in my job as a financial analyst and accountant. I used it for journal entries, financials, accounts receivable and payable, and account reconciliations on a daily basis.

I did exceptionally well in prealgebra and it prepared me well for algebra and the rest of my courses in high school.

I completed pre-calculus with high scores in high school and tutored it as well.

I graduated from Holy Trinity Diocesan High School in Hicksville, NY, in 1990 as valedictorian with an Honors Regents Diploma. I took Regents exams in Math (Sequential Math 1 (6/86), Sequential Math 2 (6/87), Sequential Math 3 (6/88)), Biology (6/87), Chemistry (6/88), Earth Science (6/86), Physics (6/89), English (6/89), Spanish (6/89), and Social Studies - US History and Government (6/89).

I scored a 720 out of 800 on the Math portion of the SAT.

Trigonometry was one of my best subjects, I scored a perfect score on my final exam.
