Hi! I am a Registered Dietitian and part time nutrition professor. I finished my undergraduate degree in nutrition science in 2008, and finished my masters in food and nutrition in 2010. I completed a dietetic internship and then passed a national accreditation exam to become a registered dietitian. I worked for 2 years in a hospital as a dietitian, and have taught online nutrition courses for the past 3 years. I enjoy teaching, whether it be college students or the patients I would see at the hospital. Nutrition is a very science-based course and can be difficult for some. I would love to help you navigate your nutrition and biology courses so that you get the most out of the class. I believe that nutrition is one of the most applicable to life courses and can help you live your healthiest life.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
