As a recent retired Social Studies teacher from Page High School in Greensboro North Carolina and George Washington High School in Danville, Virginia, I have enjoyed helping students accomplish their lifetime goals. I would like to continue doing so on a more personable level. My motto is "all students can learn." I believe that by helping students succeed, I am making a major impact in education.
I feel that I have succeeded as an educator as a result of assisting countless numbers of students pass their end of grade tests. I feel that the strategies that I've used in the classroom have enabled the students to grasp historical concepts.

I can help you study for your benchmark tests, plan long term projects, assist in writing papers, study for the end of course test, help with presentations and any other skills that are needed in a modern social studies classroom. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
