Hello, my name is Nicholas and welcome to my profile. I am a recent graduate student where I majored in Nanoscience and Technology. I graduated cum laude with a major in Chemistry, with a minor in mathematics, and then went onto acquire 2 Master's of Science. Hello, my name is Nicholas and welcome to my profile. I am a recent graduate student where I majored in Nanoscience and Technology. I graduated cum laude with a major in Chemistry, with a minor in mathematics, and then went onto acquire 2 Master's of Science. I have researched many different subjects, such as solar cells material, diatom batteries, molecular motors, neutron space shielding, and other future-tech nano-materials. What I have learned in all my years of study is that nothing can replace a well-spoken, well-read teacher and the presentation of the information they displayed in a digestible and palatable form. I adapt my tutoring style and techniques to the level and pace for each individual student. No two students learn the exact same way. This is what makes teaching (and learning) so rewarding.

Having learned from many teachers and professors the most helpful methods of teaching, I am able to bring the best methods of learning and not cramming the material you want. Here is one concept that helps to illustrate the connection each subject of sciences has with other. Looking in a linear perspective:

Mathematics :: Base; Physics :: applied Mathematics; Chemistry :: applied Physics; Biology :: applied Chemistry

As you can see above in this chart, mathematics plays a big role in the understanding of science. My minor was "heavily suggested" for learning upper level chemistry, such as physical chemistry (thermodynamics, quantum), as the material become much more intricate, but the connections starts to show. Learning math, especially Algebra I and II, Trigonometry, Calculus I, II, and III, Differential Equations, and Linear Algebra changed what math fundamentally meant to me.

Not all who wonder are lost; they are lead by their curious, no doubt. The more the subjects are worked with on the daily, the more connected everything truly is starts to feel. Please reach out with any questions or to schedule an appointment. Happy Learning!!!
