I am a writer and advocate specializing in article development and the investigation of issues focused in social justice, restorative practices, and sustainability. However, my scope of interest extends beyond this as well. I have worked as a professional writer for 5 years now, and have been studying various foreign languages for 9 years. I am a writer and advocate specializing in article development and the investigation of issues focused in social justice, restorative practices, and sustainability. However, my scope of interest extends beyond this as well. I have worked as a professional writer for 5 years now, and have been studying various foreign languages for 9 years. I most recently taught an advanced Spanish class for adults and am certified in teaching ELL (English Language Learner), previously known as ESL. As a child from a long familial line of educators, teaching comes naturally and is a practice I treasure.

I have studied Spanish for nine years, French for two, and lived in an Italian-speaking country. While my levels of fluency vary among the languages I practice, I can match fluency levels to those I teach.

All things writing and grammar are my profession-- it's an instinct to proofread/edit as I move through material in my daily life; at this point it's a habit I can't break. As a writer for a printed publication, editing and the mechanics are just as crucial as the content of my work. I am most comfortable in AP Style, Chicago, APA, and MLA.
