About Samantha

My name is Mrs. Samantha. I am an English teacher/Speech & Debate I teacher at Middle Creek High School. This is my fourth year teaching (I taught at Heritage High School in Wake Forest before moving to the Apex/Cary area). I absolutely love my job because I am able to change lives and help shape future generations through my work with my students. I have taught all levels of high school English, both honors and academics, so I am well-rounded in both my knowledge of the curriculum and student needs at each grade/skill level.

In terms of my educational background, I graduated cum laude from North Carolina State University in 2011 with my Bachelor's degree in English and Secondary Education. I also graduated with an American history minor. In 2015, I earned my Master of Health Administration degree (summa cum laude) from Louisiana State University Shreveport.

My summer schedule is very flexible and accommodating, and I would love to assist/enhance your English education in any way I can!

Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
