About Frank

I enjoy learning and I enjoy helping others to learn. I have a MS in electrical
engineering and will receive a MS in Finance in May. I can help you with your
quantitative studies. However, I am not just a numbers guy! I started university
as a History major, a subject I love. However, I took some time off from school
and unloaded trucks for a ball bearing company. I quickly concluded I was on the
wrong end of technology. Hence, the switch to engineering. I worked in the
semiconductor industry for several years in the US and Europe. In 1997, I had the
chance to try something completely different and I taught conversational English
at an experimental high school in Shenyang, China. I loved it. From 1998 to 2000
I taught Business Communications at the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.
Currently, I am assisting Asian scientist with their presentation skills and
teaching introductory business classes to ESL students enrolled in a pre-MBA program
in Boston. Again, I enjoy teaching very much. I enjoy posing questions and developing
responses that are logical, evidence-based and presented clearly. Creativity and
humor, when appropriate, are key components of an effective presentation.

My business experience has taught me that customer service is key. Together, you,
my customer, and I can achieve great things. I look forward to meeting you.

Sincerely,

Frank K.
