I am currently on my third year of an Undergraduate degree in Mathematics. Ever since I was a kid, I have always been fascinated by math, and I like explaining why mathematics work, which is one of the main reasons why I like math in the first place. I have very little formal experience tutoring. Most of my experience is from helping friends in college with their math classes. I have helped many people with their classes through out the years and we would always work out homework problems together.

As everyone knows, math courses can be very challenging. I want to not only help students with their homework, but give them a good conceptual understanding of the math they are doing so they have the tools to move to higher levels of math. A bit of good teaching goes a long way. My goal is to help students really understand their courses at a deep level.

My teaching style includes explaining the concept of what we are doing, then give them specific examples on how to do different types of problems. I also try to find different ways of explaining concepts using real world examples to help make it more clear, and actually give a reason why this would be useful in the real world. At the end of the day, math is a language, and it takes a lot of time and hard work being able to translate back and forth.

Even if someone isn't that interested in mathematics, I still think it is a good idea to learn thoroughly because math can help people think logically, which can apply to almost anything in the real world. If you have any further questions, feel free to message me. I look forward to hearing from you!

Outstanding tutor

I needed to prep for for my algebra 2 exam. Noah did a great job of figuring out what I needed to focus on, and then provided me the information in an easy-to-understand way. I could not have asked for better help.

Great tutor for calculus

I was having a lot of problems on a Calculus 3 assignment and decided to give Noah a try. He was able to immediately understand the material and explain how to solve it in a way that I understood. I will be using Noah again for sure.

Knowledgeable and thoughtful

I was struggling with Calc 2 and needed help very badly. Noah was able to provide me with great help and was able to adapt and teach me in the way that I understand most in just two hours of our first session. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is struggling with math.
