About Daniel

I enjoy helping students grasp unfamiliar and often difficult concepts and understand material more thoroughly. I feel it's important to help students relate to a subject personally in order to achieve this understanding. Additionally, I like to introduce sound study skills, when appropriate, to help students be more productive and effective in their learning.

I'm confident that the combination of my education, tutoring background, and 15+ years of professional experience will mean results for YOU!

Starting in college, I tutored a blind accounting student and my fraternity brothers. Since then, I have been a substitute teacher, a high school algebra & geometry tutor, an accounting tutor for college students, and a small business seminar speaker.

My education includes a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting Option from Montana State University – Bozeman. After my college studies focusing in accounting along with significant coursework in other business subjects, economics, statistics and math were completed, I took CPA Review courses and passed the CPA Exam while attending college.

I am usually available in the evenings and on Saturdays.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
