Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Business

I have taught Introduction to Business classes in my more than eight years of teaching. Other business courses taught include Introduction to Management and Leadership. As an economist for over 20 years, I've conducted cost-benefit analysis for companies receiving government funding. In addition, I've used Threshold Analysis to help businesses determine whether their community can support their business. Lastly I conducted Location Quotient analysis to determine whether the business community was principally a tourist site.

Economics

Economics is the study of choice. Consumers, Businesses and Government must determine their choices with limited resources. Economics also analyzes the between behavior of the above and attempts to predict or forecast their behavior and the impact of these choices have on Gross Domestic Product, consumer confidence and business investment.

Microsoft Excel

I have worked with spreadsheets since the early Lotus programs. As a user, I'm experienced in the basics of Excel plus many of the advanced features. I have conducted many training sessions for the public, faculty members and students.

Some of the material that I seemed to not grasp in my own efforts, were easier to understand with her breaking it down. She never made me fe ...
