I am currently finishing my elementary education degree. I am a 2nd grade student teacher. I have had many experiences teaching and working with students. I love helping student learn and grow. I am here to help those struggling students!
I love teaching! I am picking up tutoring for the summer to continue doing what I love. I can help with remediation, and keeping students' brains working during the summer.
I have many strategies for teaching vocab and reading since I teach it daily. I was required to take a handwriting class, so I am prepared to help with it. I teach second grade and we do a lot of practice with spelling.
I took three literacy classes in college which taught me phonics and how to teach it. I passed all 3 state required literacy tests.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I have a bachelors degree in elementary education. I am qualified to teach k-6. I have had experience in almost all of those grades.
I passed all of my math test required for certification. I took many math classes in college. I have had practice teaching math to different ages of students.
During one of my classes we were required to take a handwriting course. I had to work my way through a handwriting book and send it in to be graded by the company. I had to pass each page to be able to get a little passing certification for it.
I took three literacy classes during my college experience. These classes focused on learning phonics and how to teach them. I had to take a state test for each one and pass it to continue my education. I passed all three.
