About William

Hello parents, students or anyone else:

I am available as a tutor for all ages and most subjects. I have experience in and out of the classroom environment as a patient, understanding, versatile teacher. I have a ten year old daughter whom I have helped along in my home life as well. Please call and we can discuss a plan that works for you and your specific needs.
I have my Bachelors in English so reading, creative writing and grammar are my strongest points. I am a skilled advisor on study methods and if you need help with constructing a school paper or need help proofreading, I am a great choice. Please look at the other subjects I offer on my profile and we can discuss what level and what needs you have.

Thank you for your time and consideration,

Mr B

Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Elementary (K-6th)

I have substituted long and short-term for all grades and subjects K-6 . I have recent experiences with the curriculum and learning aids associated with these grades. Also, I have substituted as a para-educator who works with children who have more difficulty learning.

Tennis

I have been seriously involved in tennis since I was a child. I played tournaments at an elite level, high school tennis and college tennis. I have worked for two different recreation departments as a tennis instructor. I also have worked at summer camps teaching tennis to players of all ages.
