I tutored all four years throughout high school, both on a volunteer basis through my school, as well as private, paid sessions. I love to help a student "get" something that they haven't been able to previously, and this is made easier by understanding each student and tailoring the way I teach to them.

Often times, very smart students are unable to succeed in school based on factors outside of their control, such as overworked teachers, too full classrooms, or even being too bright to be expected to pay attention to mundane lessons. I work to understand why a student is struggling (i.e. missing some fundamental concept from a previous year) and then address the root of the issue.
I've taken math classes higher than Algebra 1 since my freshman year of high school, and I had a 34 on the math section of the ACT. Additionally, I tutored many students who had receive a negligent Algebra I education through Algebra II, essentially teaching them all of the concepts from Algebra I. Finally, my SAT math score was a 790.
I've never scored lower than a 35 on the ACT reading, and had a 36 on it in the 2nd and 3rd of my 4 takes. Also, my EBVRW score for my one SAT take was a 780.
Every semester of college so far has featured for me at least one class taught in C, and I've tutored/helped many friends through classes also taught in C. I have advanced knowledge of the C programming language at the level of Computer Science major.
Please, feel free to reach out with any questions, and don't hesitate to sign-up for tutoring. Let's learn together!
