In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I used to be a dance instructor with Author Murray Studios in Mobile, AL and an independent studio in Gulfport, MS. In Mobile I use to train the new instructors in the basics of Foxtrot, Waltz, Rumba, Tango, Samba, and Meringue. It was just a basic class so they could start instructing guests. Basics is all I can teach.

I have been playing since I was in high school. I have taught my son how to play and my nephews and nieces. I played in a few chess tournaments, though only in the navy among peers.
