Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Algebra 2

My undergraduate degree is in Industrial Engineering. I have worked in a community college setting and for the last three years I have worked diligently as an Algebra II instructor at a High School. I am currently enrolled at William Carey University where I will receive my Masters of Arts in Secondary Education Teaching in August 2016.

Clarinet

My name is Ellen. I was a member of the Stone High Band. I was first chair clarinet. I also tried out for Lion's band and made cuts in 1986, but did not make it because of a severe car accident. I feel that I could tutor clarinet at the beginner level.
