I'm Lizzy, a 20-year-old female with a passion for arts and education. I have worked in childcare for eight years, and have a passion for sharing arts and humanities with my students. I developed my love of teaching when I was twelve; I was an assistant teacher at my local ballet studio. Since then, I have worked with children of all ages in dance, theatre, and occasionally English. Right now I am earning a B.F.A. in Acting, a B.A. in English, and a minor in music with the hopes of building a career in theatre education.

I love story telling. My acting training has required me to analyze script and text, and that experience has allowed me to help students in a variety of ways. I can provide a student with clear writing structure to employ, while also helping them find their voice. My years in theatre have taught me to speak well in public, so in addition to helping students write or create presentations, I could also give a few tips and tricks on how to carry oneself, or how to project without straining ones voice.

I have been performing my entire life, and studying theatre intensely for the last four years. While my heart belongs to Shakespearean and classical acting styles, I also have some experience in the various acting methods: Meisner, Stanislavski, and Lundgren. Between my love of Shakespeare, my background in classical ballet, and my studies in contemporary acting, I can provide a plethora of useful techniques for young actors.
