I am Mo Salah! Not the soccer player lol, but I wish! I graduated Indiana University with >3.9 Math and Science GPA and >3.8 Overall GPA. I received 97 percentile on my psychology, biochemistry, and physics sections of the MCAT. I went on to attend medical school at Meharry Medical College where I had gotten > 3.8 GPA, top quartile on all my USMLE exams, 99 percentile on my Biochemistry, Infectious Disease, and Neurology NBME shelf exams, and qualified for AOA. I did a transitional year residency in St. Petersburg Florida and matched into my number 1 choice anesthesiology program in Mississippi because I wanted to become the best proceduralist and clinician I can be by being exposed to the most unhealthy population in the United States. I have intubated patients with a BMI of 88, placed alines on patients with radial arteries the size of a dot, and placed epidurals and spinals on pregnant ladies who have BMI > 60. Before residency started, I had received interviews at Beth Israel Harvard, Johns Hopkins, Stanford, Yale, Mount Sinai New York, UF Gainesville, Northwestern, University of Chicago, and many more! I believe that my experience in having done over 30 Anesthesiology Interviews and my 5 years of tutoring experience will help the student achieve not only the highest of scores on standardized exams, but also help the student gain confidence and success when it comes to interview days.
