Hello there!
Encouraging participation and practice, I am a highly proficient math and literacy skills coach. My lessons include questioning, demonstrations, strategies, and approaches in a virtual classroom setting. Students of varying levels and with a wide variety of needs have received help from me for the last ten years. I impart needed rules and organized thinking to inquisitive minds. I also teach small groups of math and ELA students, 4th through 8th grade, in a long-distance learning program. Working nationwide to help students, I can be found in my comfortable office on most days of the year. I have master's degrees from University of Southern Mississippi and Herzing Online. I attended Berklee College of Music in Boston where I obtained my undergraduate degree and maximum training in the audio recording program.
If you have not been to the virtual classroom for tutoring, consider reserving time with me. I can help with compositions, reading, proofreading and editing, writing techniques, spelling, math, problem-solving, charts and diagrams, and more.
My personality is one of enthusiasm, patience, and resourcefulness. I am overall cheerful.
I am glad that you are seeking a coach, and that it may be me that you meet! Let's increase your skills and strengthen the ones you have!

Students that meet with me weekly in the various public libraries of the GNO area benefit from the large amount of attention that I can give to their particular difficulties. My schooling consistently enables me to reassure students in the areas of test-taking, writing, reading comprehension, ELA, math, computer literacy, science, and more. I haven't forgotten my own elementary school lessons. It pleases me to teach children the love of academic achievement and the different weights that their study skills hold. I wish I could show you the photo of a second grader I have been helping over a long-term period. He has 2nd term ELA, Honor Roll, and math award certificates. I have a good rapport with people and will do my best at all times.

A tutor certified in study skills can extract and compile vital information for students. The web presents loads of overwhelming information about the subjects in school and also study skills. Students may not be able to cover everything. My intention as a study skills tutor is to focus for the student until the student can. I know how to format and reformat information, find the key issues, and demonstrate mnemonic approaches that students can use when preparing their classwork. I know that smart study habits can decrease the anxiety of students. I have done that for myself before and am willing to help others do it. I have helped countless students while teaching to pay attention to the fine points of collecting and organizing information. Studying can be fun once students take note to studying as an art. WyzAnt presents me with students that need to increase their study skills. Due to my workforce training and development, as well as business degrees that I have and the teaching in K-12 that I do, I know how to study and guide you to study. My sources of studying approaches are from the web, my own educators, years of experience as an educator, and my personal library collection. I am a degreed, practical knowledge scientist. As a student striving for a degree, I had to meet the course criteria, was expected to submit assignments in a timely fashion, and finish extensive research before constructing presentations and papers. Gradually, I began to study more proficiently and feel better in the time it took to get a desirable result. I learned that I would have to organize what I studied so that from year to year I could locate what I had researched and logged and use it again. Your students will learn from me how to efficiently package your academic efforts.

Great tutor

I'm in 6 grade. My parents gave permission to post this review. Carol helped me to get my grades higher. She is knowledgeable and she explains with confidence. This is my third lesson with Carol and I learned a lot. She knows how to explain.
