Hello students! I am a 64 year old Mimi, who on most days, feels 50. I completed my ASN in 2008, upgraded to BSN in 2015, and graduating from the University of North Alabama Anderson School of Nursing with MSN Teaching/Learning Degree on July 31, 2021. I have experience in ICU nursing, home hospice, and Palliative Care hospital leadership. For the last 6 years I have lead nursing staff in several different educational programs. Hello students! I am a 64 year old Mimi, who on most days, feels 50. I completed my ASN in 2008, upgraded to BSN in 2015, and graduating from the University of North Alabama Anderson School of Nursing with MSN Teaching/Learning Degree on July 31, 2021. I have experience in ICU nursing, home hospice, and Palliative Care hospital leadership. For the last 6 years I have lead nursing staff in several different educational programs. I have had the opportunity to lead workshops at Mississippi University for Women's (MUW) School of Nursing as well as East Mississippi Community College (EMCC) ADN Nursing Program. I have served om MUW's School of Nursing's Advisory Council since 2008 and on EMCC's ADN Nursing Program's Advisory Council since 2017. I am excited to offer mentorship, teaching, and leadership abilities to help you become all you can be in the nursing profession. Nursing is career choice that demands you as a student apply yourself and give all you have. Don't place your trust in me, place your trust in yourself, I will be here to lead and encourage. If you are a willing participant in the the learning process, I whole-heartedly believe together we can see your dream of becoming a nurse to fruition.
