Approved subjects are in bold.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

I spent over a year working in an Autism Clinic under an ABA therapist. While at the clinic, I was in charge of creating and implementing a curriculum for 4-5 year old children with ASD to help prepare the students socially and intellectually for kindergarten. In addition, I worked for almost 2 years in an in-patient psychiatric facility where I helped create behavior modification programs for patients with ASD.
