I currently attend Pre-Algebra and Algebra with my students and offer a tutorial class for them in which I reteach missed concepts.
My college major was English Education, and writing is a personal love of mine. I was one of the highest grades in my class in Public Speaking in college, and my job centers around utilizing public speaking skills. Furthermore, I spent four years in high school and college as an actor, so I am familiar with speaking in front of large crowds.
I try to use a lot of demonstration and paraphrasing in my lessons to help students better understand material. I also like to use as many real-world scenarios as possible to help students understand how information is relevant to them in their every day lives.
