University of New Orleans (MBA)
Originally from the Gulf Coast of Mississippi, I excelled in science/religion related topics before becoming a foreign exchange student. While there I was immersed in the native language, namely, Croatian (while studying German on my own). I was a business major who graduate high school with honors, eventually returning to the United States (where I have since graduated from the University of New Orleans with a Bachelor's in Finance (as well as an MBA concentrated in business administration). In addition to tutoring, I am a musician, a translator, as well as a writer. I will do what it takes to provide a fun environment while providing a framework for your short-term, medium-term, and long-term goals. Quizzes will also be given periodically to test your progress. I will strive to provide an environment conducive to your individual learning needs.
Specifically, I can tutor in Microsoft Office products, different operating systems (Windows, Linux), business subjects, ranging from personal finance, banking, microeconomics, macroeconomics, investment finance, marketing, management, as well as management coursework. The lessons are one hour in duration, or more, dependent on the appropriate academic level of the student. My rates are reasonable and hopefully competitive enough to meet your demands. I can come to any location within twenty miles of Biloxi, Mississippi, or can schedule sessions from my own home (dependent largely on the needs of the student). My qualifications are geared specifically to meet the needs of students in the final two years of high school, as well as freshmen students. For additional questions, please contact me directly. Thanks for your time and attention.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
As an exchange student I studied marketing in high school while in Croatia, which focused on the interface between local marketing and international marketing. I have also taken marketing classes at the University of New Orleans, specifically, corporate marketing, service marketing, in both my undergraduate and graduate studies respectfully. I conducted numerous group projects (as well as individual projects) - one of those was a detailed marketing plan of New Orleans Original Daiquiris. I also assessed the marketing plans of other business (small and medium-sized). Ultimately, I am directly involved with the marketing of a small business, by way of a website.
The coursework that I have used in college coursework has to do with using Excel as a qualitative statistics basis. My final grade was an A, having taken it at the University of New Orleans in the fall of 2000. I am familiar with almost all of the functions, including charts, formulas, graphs, etc.
