Fontbonne University (Applied Mathematics)
I have a degree in Applied Mathematics from Fontbonne University, and I am currently working on getting my teaching certificate to teach math. I was valedictorian of my high school, and an honor student in college. I love helping people with subjects they have trouble understanding, and helping them learn to love a subject!
I have experience in tutoring. In high school, I earned a Gold service cord for over 100 hours of tutoring. I was apart of a renowned tutoring program, and I was also a cadet teacher, all of which were volunteer tutoring hours. I also helped my fellow classmates in college when they were struggling with math.
I have a B.S in Applied Mathematics and I am working towards my teaching certificate for math.
I am a young adult, who would love the opportunity to help you learn to LOVE math!! It has always been my favorite subject, and I find that when you find someone who can teach it in a way you can understand, you will LOVE it too! In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
