Hi, my name is Emma! I am a senior in Elementary Education with a minor in Religious Studies at Missouri State University. As a college student at the end of my program, I have put a lot of hours into intentional instruction and small group work. This allows me to have a good understanding of specific issues students could be struggling with especially in English Language arts content. As well as the foundational skills within math and science.
During my program over the last four years, I have spent a minimum of 20 hours per semester in a classroom across all ages in elementary and in every subject. I have also done research or observed many types of different strategies for content to help students reach their full potential. I have gained experience with lots of resources to help make connections where whole group lessons in school may have missed.
I have previously nannied for a family who did homeschool where I assisted with teaching the children. I am very comfortable with the multitude of resources and curriculum that comes with homeschool education!
I want to make sure my student's tutoring sessions are unique to them and benefit them in the best way possible! I am comfortable and willing to use any resources or suggestions parents, school teachers, or students may have! Please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have! I look forward to booking a session with you!
