My experience working at the Kumon Learning Center in Princeton has helped me to become well-trained in working with a variety of students. I double majored in economics and German. I have a thorough understanding of micro- and macroeconomic theories, statistics, econometrics, and calculus. I have also lived and worked for a couple of years in Germany, and, in combination with my study of the German language, I am fluent with a complete understanding of grammar rules. I have had much experience working with students ranging from K-12 in improving their basic math skills. I believe that students improve their math skills by mastering prerequisite techniques first. Most problems with math skills involve insufficient understanding of previous material. I can help identify those problems and address them.

I have studied piano for over 15 years, 6 of which was at the New School for Music Study in Princeton, NJ. I have played church accompaniment, prelude, and postlude hymns. I believe in starting in fundamentals, beginning with the basics of music theory and note reading. Basic piano technique builds upon a solid understanding of music theory.
