Hello! My name is Christina. I have a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature and Spanish Language & Culture and am TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certified. I am Cuban-American, born and raised in Tampa, Florida, but I have lived in Spain, Peru, Mexico, and Costa Rica throughout the years. Hello! My name is Christina. I have a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature and Spanish Language & Culture and am TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certified. I am Cuban-American, born and raised in Tampa, Florida, but I have lived in Spain, Peru, Mexico, and Costa Rica throughout the years. I love to travel and share both American and Hispanic culture with my students! My high-school training in Theater and the Performing Arts also provides a foundation for dynamic and interactive lessons.

I have spent the past 5 years teaching students ranging from ages 3 - 70 both in person and online. I have taught Elementary school as a 3rd grade teacher, ESL (English as a Second Language) to both Peruvian and Chinese students (online), and Spanish in both group and one-to-one settings (in-person and online). I have a passion for language learning, literacy, and proficiency in the arts. I love helping my students to be able to communicate confidently and open doors with their new-found skills!

The most important thing we like about Christiana, is that my son wants to tutor with her. When the child wants to go to tutoring, it is the first sign that the teacher and student have a great relationship and the student will indeed learn.
