As an advertising writer and editor I have learned how do work with other writers and readers improve their own skills.
I have started three successful businesses and served as executive vice president for a family business employing 125 people. I'm familiar with sales and marketing disciplines as well as accounting and business IT. My law degree has also informed my business career in a number of areas including contracts, business regulations and proposals. I enjoy learning about and analyzing businesses issues and new business opportunities and have a wide circle of business executives in a number of industries then I regularly work with.

I've built three successful service businesses in three diverse industries serving a variety of clients. The common element in all three was my ability to develop and execute effective marketing plans for small, medium and large companies.
Large clients included Monsanto, Caterpillar, Pioneer Seed, Eveready, and the Trane Company. Smaller companies included McCarthy Brothers, Auffenburg Automotive, Drury Hotels, Tripos Molecular Modeling software and PTSDstress.com, a web based provider of programs to address and alleviate traumatic stress symptoms.
Whether the client is electronically sophisticated and integrated or is more of a traditional manufacturer or distributor, I have been able to increase sales and profits by implementing a variety of sales process systems.
